Dr. Mollie Painton

Mollie Painton, Psy.D., a nationally known child psychologist, is a lecturer on play therapy, an expert on children’s spiritual intelligence, and a play therapist who is a member of the National Association of Play Therapy (APT). She has been in private practice for over 25 years and she is licensed in Oregon. A Level II EMDR trauma therapist, she has taught play therapy to doctoral students at the University of Northern Colorado.

Dr. Painton received training at the University of Arizona (U of A) and the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) and the Erickson Center in Phoenix. Her more than twenty years of experience as a children’s entertainer with puppets and stories has enhanced her ability to be a privileged visitor in children’s inner worlds.
